I was planning to get down at new york Penn station and wanted to know if the red cap service exists or not..?

I will be having 3 bags.I would be heading to JFK and for that I would most probably take the bus from the Penn station.I was curious if the red cap exists till now and will they help me in gettig the bags from train to the bus.If there is any other alternate please let me knw.Im coming from Providence RI

1. Don't quote me on this, but I suspect if there is a redcap service, it would only be available to Amtrak customers. I highly doubt that for local transit to JFK there would be someone to help you with your bags. I might be wrong though, so just give them a call at (212) 630-6401 to check. Is it even possible to take a bus directly from Penn station to JFK? Maybe from the port authority bus terminal, but as far as I know there aren't any busses that go directly to JFK.
