What can I expect when riding the Greyhound Bus?
Hi I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 16, we are both going to visit my mom at the end of May. The bus will be going from Sioux Falls, SD to Portland, OR. How many stops will there be about? What I should know and expect during before and after riding the Greyhound? Thanks.

- Depending the city or where you are in, people are pushy. Dont let them intimidate you. Get a window seat if you can, people are constantly walking back and forth to the bathroom. Sit near the front if you can because of the smell. It could be hot and damp if theres no air conditioning, or practically freezing if theres no heat. Bring pillows cuz the ride can get boring really fast. Bring hand sanitizer and honestly i would put bounce sheets or air fresiner in your bag so that your clothes dont pick up any bad smells of other people. Make sure food is sealed and dont leave any kind of values about, people will take them. Just put your stuff under the bus someone will usualy tell you where and then get on and sit in your seat. Bring things to do because not all are equiped with tv''s.
- you can expect your nerves to be shot you can expect to stand for over 2 hours on the bus you can expect that you will miss your connectiopns you can expec the driver to get lost or not even speak enligh there a very high change of getting into an accident or the bus breaking down you can expect to get lied by customer service oh sure we have another section that bus yea they means 24 hours later! you will say you wll never ride greyhound agan you might want to seek other means of tranportation (amtrak or a flying there)
