Where can I get an Italian greyhound in Portland Oregon?

just try looking in a local shelter : ) u will be surprised how many different types of dogs are there u might just find who your looking for !
Go to Yahoo! Search engine and type in "Italian Greyhound for sale Portland" Its bound to pull of sites in or around your city with people selling them. Thats how I found my soon to be Shepherd
Im sure the shelter has plenty of places to find Italian Greyhounds (or a mix of one). You would be saving a life!
As far as I know, there isn't an Italian Greyhound rescue in Oregon. However, before you continue your search for this breed, please read about the breed and be ABSOULTLY sure it is the right breed for you. They are not the right choice for people who are away from home for 8 or more hours per day unless you can afford doggie daycare or a professional dog walker. While an absoultly wonderful breed, as with all breeds there are issues that need to be carfully considered. For one thing, Italial Greyhounds are VERY HARD TO HOUSE-BREAK.
