Is there a cheap way to get to from New York to Baltimore Maryland without taking Greyhound or Peter Pan?

I want to go to Baltimore, Maryland for the first weekend in May. However, I don't want to go Greyhound or Peter Pan! Call me cheap but I'm not paying 72 dollars for a bus ride! (I take Bolt Bus to Boston and that is only 35 roundtrip!) I don't drive and I definitely don't have a Car! Is there a Bus or Van service out of New York that is cheaper than Greyhound or Peter Pan that will get me to Baltimore Maryland? Amtrak is more expensive than Greyhound...for that I take Greyhound! And Vamoose's schedule is no good for me!

  2. Look on Craigslist for a ride...and post a message there too...under "Rideshare."
  3. Amtrak has several trains each day.
