cheap ottawa charter coach buses?

can anyone recommend a coach bus company that can do day trips. maybe a gantineau company. i'm looking for the most inexpensive

1. I'm sorry I can't answer. I just wish you luck with that. I'm sure they do exist. A few years ago, I held a huge party at my cottage, in northern Ontario. Since most of the guests were either from southern Ontario (Toronto, Ottawa) or were flying into Pearson from abroad, my husband and I tried desperately to find a coach company that could transport a large number of people together. (I worried, especially where it concerned the foreign guests, about the six hour drive from Toronto. Accidents. Break-downs. Getting lost. They were all real possibilities.) Unfortunately, any of the "acceptable" coaches were hugely expensive and didn't really do long-distance, overnight trips. The ones that did were...well...let's just say they were not acceptable to me. So, we ended up using a car service for some guests; arranging for others to share rides in rented minivans, and the rest chose to drive themselves (in their own vehicles or in rented ones). Thankfully, everyone arrived at the venue and back home again, without incident. (phew) But it was a constant source of worry for me, as the party's hostess. Oh, a couple of the "groups" (okay, one group of five travelling together, and one couple) chose to do some sightseeing en route. They did part of the trip the day before the party, and selected rustic little resorts to stay overnight, arriving at my cottage ready to party.
