What is the Best way to get From Valmorel to Amsterdam?

So i am meeting up with friends in Amsterdam and taking a charter Bus to Val-morel to go snowboarding, the problem is their trip last longer than i can stay and i need to get back to Amsterdam around 9:30 on a sunday to make my flight. I don't know what is the Cheapest way to get from Val-morel to Amsterdam in time to make my flight. Please help me, any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

1. The BEST way by far is by train. Take the French high speed train called the "TGV" from the "Moutiers-Salins-Brides les Bains" train station near Valmorel to "Paris Lyon" station. From there you take the Paris subway up to "Paris Nord" station, and then from there you catch a train direct to Amsterdam. You can do the whole trip in one day. If you are not familiar with Paris train travel you need to study the map routes as there are multiple stations in Paris. (and in case you were wondering, there is no train that goes direct from Valmorel to Amsterdam, you have to change trains to make the whole trip). In general, TGV trains coming from the south arrive in "Paris Lyon" station which is on the south side of Paris. Trains leaving for Amsterdam leave from "Paris Nord" (North). You can get from one station to the next pretty easily by the Paris subway but it will take some time if you are not familiar with it. I checked fares and second class you can do the whole trip for around $250. You will want to take the high speed TGV from Valmorel to Paris as it will only take 4 hours. If you take the regular speed train it will take over 8 hours. You can also take the high speed train to Amsterdam from Paris, it is called the "Thalys". Trains going into Amsterdam from Paris normally go through the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport station first which is cool if you want to go straight to the airport. Good Luck!
