What's the cheapest way to travel to New York from Ohio, Pennslyvania, or Maryland?

I've found a site where I can go on a round trip for like $63 and it's by a charter company called Peter Pan Buses. I guess it's so cheap because it only deal with a couple of states. My boyfriend said that it'd be cheaper to travel by train, but I can only find Amtrak stations and for a round trip, it's $444. He don't want me going through the Port Authority, then get a taxi, then, get on a train, and then get another taxi. He lives out in Centerport (Huntington region) out on Long Island. I'm also considering distance. According to Peter Pan Buses, it'll only take approximately 3-4 hours to get there (to the Port Authority). I really don't want to have to have a trip take a full day up. Any tips or anything? Just post them. Thanks in advance!!

2. Peter Pan is realiable. The train will cost too much. Do not overlook Southwest or other air flights. Try http://www.kayak.com and select "all airports" option
3. Let the boy friend come to you, or get a new boy friend. Am i missing something, why are you doing the traveling. Doesnt he have a job, earning money. He should be able to affort to fly if he is earning money. If he doesnt have a job, he is not ready to have a long distant realationship. Long distant realationship is much mre diffcult then it 1st seems.
