Difference between the Greyhound and the Italian greyhound?

Whats the general difference?? An Italian greyhound just seems like a smaller version of the Greyhound. i am probably wrong, so whats the real difference?

1. italian greyhounds bark in italian....
2. Italians have a much different personality type. They are much more nervous, shy & are much more energetic. Other than looks, you're comparing apples to oranges.
3. I think that is all the difference. I don't know if Italian greyhounds were bred specifically for speed like the greyhound was, but aside from being smaller I believe they are essentially the same. This site describes each breed in depth, maybe you can glean more from these, hope they help!
