I am 8 year CDL driver and know the rules and recently started driving a charter bus and rules slightly differ?

Company told me 72 hours for hour restart instead of 34, but no one outside the company I've talked to has heard of this. Does anyone know, or know where I could find that information on charter bus rules and if the restart hours are 34 or 72 hours? Thanks

1. It may be a company policy to have the 72 hours off. According to federal regs, it is only 34 hour before a restart. (49CFR Part 395.1, 395.3, and 395.5)
