What are the laws regarding how close a sex offender can live next to a school or bus stop?

2. Most states have no laws in place. Any limits would be a part of the terms of thier probation/parole. If your concerned contact your local probation office, also most state police organizations keep a database of registered sex offender's addresses, this information is usually available online.
