What would this mean if this happened?

Well today i had an interview at Hallmark. The guy who is the manager knows i am in school. I don't have a cell phone. But i did use my home phone number. Well he said he tried calling me to tell me that we needed to re-schedule the interview. So i took the metro bus about a 30 minute drive because of stops for no reason. He told me to call him monday to set up an interview next week. Keep in mind i am 17 with no experience. He said that is fine. This is just a temp. seasonal job for the holidays. Thanksgiving is next week. So are they just trying to let me down easily? Or do you think he was telling the truth? Because the holidays are starting next week and they needed seasonal help for the holidays

1. by holidays...they prob mean Christmas time....keep a positive attitude bout it and jus be patient...if they are jus lettin you down easy then be glad they were nice enough to think of your feelins
