1. The article that I read does not name the bus driver nor his / her ethnicity. Apparently, it was a bus full of tour guides from St. Petersburg, Russia an route to Eilat, a popular resort area near the Red Sea. There were 60 people on the bus - 26 were killed. It sounds like the bus was speeding and the driver lost control in a no-passing zone, crashed through a road barrier and the bus plunged down a steep ravine. -very tragic story. Edit: It appears that the driver was Israeli - he survived. The cause is still under investigation. However, it sounds to me like he was driving too fast and a bit recklessly.
