Does anyone know the Bus schedule from Corfu to Athens?

I've tried to find the details, hit the Ktel website, the english version is being built and the rest is Greek to me. Everywhere else I get links to other Ktel websites but no luck. What I need is the timetable for departures from Corfu to Athens.

  1. Corfu is an island off the coast of Greece. I'm not 100% sure if there is a bridge that connects the two together. I've been to Corfu a few years ago, but that was by a ship. You might have to take a boat to the mainland and then a bus ride to Athens.
  2. Hi Graham, Corfu is an island but I guess you know that already. You need to take the KTEL bus from Athens to Igoumenitsa and then a ferry to Corfu. Info: From Athens: via Igoumenitsa (KTEL Athens, Kifissou 100 (11 hours) Tel: +30 210 5133583. KTEL Corfu Tel: +30 26610 39985) From Thessaloniki: (+30 2310 528600) For timetable (see by road): http://www.terrakerkyra.gr/metakinisi/en/index.html from Athens to Corfu (I guess the bus gets in the ship): http://www.terrakerkyra.gr/metakinisi/en/metakinisi01.html have a nice trip! PS: if money is not a problem, consider flying directly from Athens (~200 euros).
  3. Impossible to go from Corfu to Athens on a bus only. Corfu is an island, and you can catch a ferry from Corfu to Patra, and then a bus from Patra to Athens. Go to http://www.ferries.gr/booking/ for the ferry schedule from Corfu to Patra. The KTEL website is offline, but once you get to Patra, there should be buses leaving fairly regularly (about every 1/2 hour from 6:00 am until around 8:00 pm) to Athens during the summer. The total time for this excursion is around 5-6 hours by ferry, and 3 hours by bus (8-9 hours).
  4. Difficult to find on the greek internet. As it seems, twice a day, either at 7 in the morning or at 20.30. Or via Lefkimh (whatever this place is) 3 times a week at 11. And yes, the bus gets in a ferry from Kerkyra to Igoumenitsa - and it lasts around 7-8 hours. The only really reliable information can be provided from the KTEL offices, telephone (+30) 210-5129443, (+30)26610-39985.
  5. buses travel from Corfu to Athens and vice versa three times a day. The buses get into the ferry boats (about 1hour and a half) and then drive through the mainland. The trip lasts about 8-9 hours. There is one bus in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. http://www.allcorfu.com/ou-buses.html (at the bottom of the page)
