What Are Your Recent Greyhound Bus Experiences?

If you took a Greyhound Bus within the last 3 - 4 months, I'm interested in your feedback. I am planning on taking a 24 hour Greyhound trip from Newark to Nashville in the near future and was just wondering how their service has been recently. If you can, please answer the following questions: Were all your buses on or close to schedule? Was your driver friendly or rude? Were any of your buses so full that you had to wait for the NEXT bus? If so, how long did you have to wait? Did they add extra buses to accomodate passengers if needed? Do they honor your ticket even if you leave on an earlier or later scheduled bus? Any other comments? I'm ONLY looking for people who RECENTLY took Greyhound and can share their honest experiences.

  1. I know the guy who is the president of greyhound and he says when people with mental disabilities who take pills to control it board the bus they seem normal and ok but after hours when the meds wear off they sometimes think someone is trying to kill them and sometimes jump out windows in the bathroom. But if that wasn't helpful I went on a 10 hour bus ride and we had movies, at first everybody slept, it was nice and cool inside and the driver was hilarious.
  2. I took the greyhound a couple of months back. Yes, they were on schedule. The driver didn't say anything. One of the buses that I had to transfer to was full so I had to wait for the next bus but it was available after about 5-10 minutes (so not a problem). Actually if I'm not mistake...on my ticket it only has the validity period 1 year and destination. It doesn't have the time (but I'm not positive as I don't have the ticket with me right now. On the trip back we had a movie to watch
