USA Bus Lines

What is the break-even point for a greyhound bus to show profit?

How many poor bastards have to stand in the aisles before the dispatcher, located way down in Dallas or wherever, will put another bus on that route or schedule? Why has their service to many small towns been dropped for the reason of pure greed?

  1. they need atleast 22 people on average to be able to pay for the driver, insurance, bus/repairs, parking spot, gasoline, claims, and percentage overhead. This doesnt mean there needs to be 22 people at all times, only an average. like a MEAN average. I used to work for grayhound corporate, we had to figure out these things before purchasing a new route.
