Bus tour from Germany to Paris?

I am planning a trip to Germany and I am told it is better to book bus tours in Europe? I am looking for an English speaking tour of Paris/France departing from Germany May 2008. Any advice is appreciated.

  1. I would suggest taking a train Eurorail from Germany to Paris Then booking your tour of Paris thru the hotel you are staying at in Paris. You only need to book these tours the evening before you plan on going. Trains are easy and very enjoyable in Europe. Also don"t be affrid to use the subway in Paris they are very safe and each station has a route map that is very easy to understand
  2. There are many ways to get to Paris. I have taken a tour bus before, but it was so crowded and uncomfortable. If you don't mind all that then just take the bus. You can also take the Euro Rail, just remember to make arrangements ahead of time so you can get a better deal; here's the website: http://www.bahn.de/p/view/international/englisch/international_guests.shtml . I believe they now have what is called a Paris Special for 29 Euros. I just drove to Paris this weekend; it was easier than I thought. I did spend 50 Euros in tolls and 40 Euros on fuel for the way back, but it was comfortable for my family and me.
