Where do I find the vin number on a 1983 model tour bus?

The bus is old but i'm sure the it has a vin number i just at least need to know where to look.

1. The owner's manual should tell you where to locate the VIN. If you don't have it, there will be a VIN on the tire information placard (commonly located on the driver side door, passenger side A pillar or glove compartment). There might also be a VIN number stamped near the corner of the driver side windshield, and there will definitely be a VIN stamped somewhere in the engine compartment.
