concert at Six Flags in NJ?

ok so heres my dilema: ~i want to go to the boys like girls-metro station-good charlotte concert at six flags in Jackson, New Jersey. ~my parents arent to crazy about the idea ~im not going alone ~i live in central jersey...Clark-Linden-Rahway-Cranford area I DONT UNDERSTAND TRAIN SCHEDULES and i need to take a train to some bordering town to jackson cuz apparently they dont have a train station or whatever...and then i need to take a bus...or something and i need to convince my parents WHAT DO I DO?? =[
