I CANT UNDERSTAND THE METRO RAIL MAP?HELP?

i am trying to get to los angeles from pasadena and i want to take the metro train(rail) and i want to know which ones i have to take to get there and time schedules for saturday from :pasadena to: broadway, los angeles or any were around that area and if its not any trouble also the metro buses

1. you can take the Gold line to Union station then transfer to the Red Line and take to Pershing square station this will put you one block away from Broadway cost is $1.25 for the Gold line and other 1.25 for the red line (or a day pass for $5.00) another otther option is gold line to union station then the 740 or 745 Both bus operated down Broadway again its 1.25 per mode of transportation
2. Gold line train goes from Pasadena to downtown LA. You can then switch to the red line subway. Check mta.net for the schedules. But a train should come every 15 minutes or so, so you can just show up.
