Help w/Houston metro?

I'm going to a concert in Houston at this place called Warehouse Live. I'll be getting to the greyhound station in downtown. I don't know if I should get a taxi or take the Metro. I've never had 2 do this in a big city. I usually have a car. I've never taken a metro bus or a taxi. I have an idea of how the metro works but I'm afraid of getting on the wrong bus. There's this website w/the bus schedules in Houston but I have no clue which stops are the one's I need 2 get on and off. I need advice. HELP!!! :)

  1. call 713-635-4000 - if you have the address you are coming from and going to, they will be able to assist you. must be a great concert for your to come to the 'big H' and consider a cab or metro for transportation.
  2. The metro is easy to ride, you can use the metro trip planner on the website or call the number, they're always helpful. All you need is a dollar to ride wherever you want to, two dollars buys you a day pass. Walking around downtown is nice just don't look at the bums, riding the bus isn't bad either usually business ppl, and college kids ride them, all buses have a number that you need to board, however if you're unsure of the bus you're taking all you need to do is ask the driver, give them an intersection and they'll tell you if they're giong there or not, most of them are really nice and will tell you what street to go to and what bus to take if their bus isn't the right one for you. have fun!
  3. Warehouse Live is not very far from the Greyhound station. If you don't have alot to carry it is not too bad of a walk. A taxi would not be much otherwise.
