New Jersey Transit bus?
I am traveling from Newark Airport to NYC for the day and I was wondering about New Jersey Transit. I have taken the rail lines before but i do not want to spend the 20$ if a bus is just as efficient. I have explored the NJT website and have looked up the schedules and I know both bus and rail go between the airport and port authority or penn station. My real question is- are the buses safe to take or should I go with the train? The travel times are not that different so thats not an issue. Im afraid that I will go to port authority after my day in the city and get lost and not be able to find the right bus! Has anyone taken the bus? Should I take the bus or spend the extra money to take the rail line?

- I say take the train, ur payin the extra money for a sure of mind ride, u can't always count on the buses to be on time either , i know from experience- i live in Jersey
- The time it takes for the bus to get into the city depends on the time of day during rush hour the bus might get stuck in traffic. Trains don't get stuck. Both port autrhority bus station and penn station are confusing, try to see where the gate is that you should leave from. and both are pretty safe.
- I think you should take the train. You won't get stuck in traffic! I've taken both bus and train and had better luck with the train.
- The bus drives like a maniac. It was so bad I'll never do it again.
