Greyhound buses? How are they?

thinking about taking a bus down to NYC this weekend using Greyhound. How is it? Are there a lot of delays? Especially going into NYC? Or are the schedules accurate?

  1. Greyhound is this nation's bus system of course their schedules are accurate. The only time they will have a day is during inclement weather, such snow, but very much there service is good. Good luck and happy travels Native New Yorker
  2. I've taken Greyhound to other places and for the most part have had no problems. If there were any delays, it was out of the drivers control (weather, accidents).
  3. The Greyhound Bus is a national institution for good reason. The busses are clean, comfortable, in good condition, and well-driven, on schedule, no delays that I ever ran into, and going into NYC is no problem x
  4. Greyhound in general is pretty good, as long as weather and other factors outside of the bus company's control are cooperative. The only unreasonable delay I've had with them was in North Carolina. IN NY, Greyhound uses the Port Authority building, which is just off of the Lincoln Tunnel, so gridlock in Manhattan doesn't really hurt bus travel that much (but tunnel delays can; just avoid peak commuter times and you're fine).
