Is becoming an airline pilot popular with middle eastern men? The question may sound stupid, and I don't want to stereotype,but we have a pilot training school in Daytona. They come by shuttle bus to a small airport here in Edgewater to fly the little pipers over to the bahamas. I went by the airport today as the kids, as that what they looked like to me were getting off the bus. There were 7 of them and they were all arab/middle eastern looking. Does this job have esteem in those countries? For a brief second, i though OMG they are all arab, thats why I mentioned stereotyping, and I hate to do that but with all the terrorism in the world i could not help it, and I feel bad as I am sure they are just looking for a good job.
