How much is a 1993 Shuttle Bus worth? I want to buy a 1993 Ford Bus (Shuttle Bus) 34VN body style & it has about 195k miles on it. How much is this worth? Kelly Blue Book won't let me look up prices on shuttle buses.
Is there a free shuttle bus between the intl and domestic terminal in Sydney? I'm coming from an International flight and need to take Virgin Blue for my connection.
Anyone Can Ride the NY Ferry Bus Free, Right? I did a lot of research about taking the Ferry bus. The website simply states that you hail it like a taxi. So instead of paying to get home from my new job, I thought I'd try it. Once on the bus, I asked the driver if it was okay to take it, and let him know I'd like to get off near home (which is along the route). He was kind enough to open the door for me at the red light near my home, along the route. But he let me know that he was doing me a favor. Cool. The next time, I sat quietly and rode it all the way to the destination, then walked a couple of blocks home. No worries. That would be my new routine. Then today, the driver picked up two people in front of my building, so of course I tried to exit as they entered. This driver, unlike the first, swiftly shut the door on purpose, even though we were stopped. Okay, no problem. But some old man took it upon himself to berate me, saying I should take the city bus and he's "payng for me" to take the Ferry. If that's the case, I'm paying for him to work in NYC since he's not a resident. I didn't have my facts together then, but I do now. http://www.nywaterway.com/BusStopsSchedules.aspx "Our FREE red, white and blue shuttle buses are frequently seen and always recognized on the street of Manhattan. They follow the most popular routes around the city which include 57th Street, 49th Street, 42nd Street, and 34th Street, as well as a special Downtown loop. Download Peak Route Map Download Off-Peak Route Map Download Bus Locator Card Our FREE shuttle buses stop at all NYC bus stops along these routes. All you have to do is wave them down, like you would hail a taxi, and then just sit back as our comfortable bus transports you directly to Pier 78, which is where our tour boats depart from. Pier 78 is located at W. 38th St. & 12th Ave. To make it even easier, if you can't find a regular bus stop close by, you can always go to one of our two primary pick-up locations where you can count on a bus at the following times:" So I should not have asked to exit, and I won't again. I thought I'd ask since we were directly in front of my building and people were getting on. But I was within my RIGHT to ride the Ferry to the destination. This man acted like I was some woman on welfare with 5 kids, talking about "I'm paying for you." I hope to see this fossil again to show him the FACTS. The Ferry bus is f-r-e-e! Actually today, a man and his two kids asked to get off at a stop before my home. The driver was kind enough to open the door. Yesterday, a lady exited with a suitcase. WHERE does it show on the website that the Ferry bus is ONLY for Ferry passengers? Name calling is for children. As an adult with some level of maturity, please show me where it states that ONLY Ferry passengers can ride to the bus. Especially in the face of some drivers who do not mind letting people off where they'd stop anyway (at red lights). And why don't they require proof to ride if that's the case? I asked questions and did the research. I am not trying to get over. I am riding a free service that's available for anyone who flags it down -- the website states. I personally will not ask to get off early again. But if someone else gets off in front of my building, I'm getting off too.
Are there any buses/shuttles from Toronto to Blue Mountain? I am looking for a bus that can take me up on a saturday (in the morning), and bring me home the following day (sometime in the afternoon). I was looking into purchasing a round trip from Greyhound, for around $60. Are there any cheaper alternatives to this? Thanks for the help.
How should I get from the cancun airport to the blue bay club? is there a shuttle bus? or do i need to take a taxi?
Airport shuttle bus versus public transport.? Arriving in Prague middle of September and am staying at the Red and Blue Design Hotel next to Kinsky park. Quite fancy getting there on our own steam, does anyone know the bus no from airport and where we get off, also if its better to then walk the rest of the way or get the metro. Thank you for any info.
Is there a shuttle or car service I can use to get from Astoria to LaGuardia Airport? I am in Astoria (Queens) and I am trying to find a shuttle or car service that will take me to LaGuardia Airport (also in Queens). I am near the airport, but I do not want to take the subway to the bus because i need to get there at 4:30 in the morning. There are not a lot of cabs on the street where I live, so I can't hail a cab like I would in Manhattan. Does anyone know of a car/shuttle i can use that is not ridiculously expensive?? the Blue Van/Super Shuttle only picks you up in Manhattan, I believe. This was what I always used and I was disappointed to find out they don't serve Queens. To the poster that lived in Astoria, is there a service you used that you could recommend? i looked in the phone book/yellow pages but i dont know what is legit or reputable. I want to use one that someone else has used before. i am traveling at 4:30 in the morning, so I have safety concerns.
transportation to toronto airport to blue mountain resort canada? anybody know of any shuttle buses or easy transportation from toronto airport to blue mountain resort canada? im flying in and i need to figure out my own way there. + how much thanks
What to do with in LAX and with my luggage? Ill be stuck at LAX for 7 hours. I was planning to go to Santa Monica during that time. Is going to Santa Monica easy from lax? I was planning to take the C shuttle bus to the terminal, the big blue bus rapid 3 to 4th and santa monica blvd, and the same thing back again. this is just easier 1) does the 3 rapid bus drop you off in a good area thats next to the state beach? 2) would it be easy getting back, are the stops permenant and frequented every 15 mins, 30 mins, or so? 3) what do i do with my monster size carry on bag? i heard that theyre no lockers anymore. thanks for the suggestion A, but i've actually thought about it just not and im not feeling that adventurous... after backpacking through most of china by myself, and not being able to see a beach in like 2398934 years... im just ready to drop everything and crash on the sand.. lol
What is the most economical means of travel between PHL airport and downtown Philadelphia? Party of 4 seniors traveling from PHL to downtown. Need most economical travel as a group. Regional rail, subway, and/or SEPTA buses not feasible because of mobility issues. Unable to find listings for shared ride type vendors (Super Shuttle, Blue Shuttle, etc) at PHL. Many listings for limousine and town car type service but no shuttles?? Taxi cab feasible if vehicle can accommodate 4 passengers w/ luggage. Would welcome feedback from anyone with experience with these issues at PHL.
Easiest way to get from LAX to Grauman's Chinese Theatre? My sister and I are coming over to the USA from Australia for a holiday. We will be in LA on Monday 28 December for the day. We are flying into LAX, arriving around 7am on SouthWest Airlines. We fly out at about 8pm that same night to go to Vegas. Since we only have the day there, we want to do a Hollywood / LA tour and try to see as much as possible. We have found one we are keen to do that departs from Grauman's Chinese Theatre (6925 Hollywood Blvd) at 9am. I have looked at www.metro.net but the Trip planner keeps telling me that there are no options available for the trip we want to do. Investigating a bit further, it looks like we can take a Shuttle from LAX to Aviation/LAX station, take the Green Line train to Imperial/Wilmington station, then change to the Blue Line train and travel to 7th St/Metro and then change to the Red Line train and travel to Hollywood/Highland. Not knowing what the train system is like, is it easy to change Lines from Green to Blue and then Blue to Red? Are the stops in the same station (i.e. just have to change platforms) or do we actually have to leave the station and go to another station? Also, what is the best way to buy a ticket? Can we just buy tickets with cash on the Shuttle bus for the whole trip (including return to LAX at the end of the day) or do we have to buy separate tickets when we get to Aviation/LAX station for the train trip? Finally, is there an easier way to get to Grauman's (bearing in mind we HAVE to arrive before 9am or we will miss the tour)? Sorry, perhaps I should have explained better. We are coming from Australia but we will already be in the US before our day trip to LA. We will be in Vegas and thought, since the airfare was so cheap, that we could do a day trip to LA and check it out as well. We are looking at taking an early flight from Vegas to LA. We won't have bags so we should be able to clear the airport quite quickly after our flight lands. Re the "Flyaway" how long does it take to get to Union Station? I was worried that if we took a cab or a bus we would get stuck in traffic and risk not getting to the Theatre on time to meet the tour. I will check out the other tour company that picks up from LAX. Thanks for that suggestion. I would certainly be alot easier.
How to get from Laguardia to 6th ave and 46th street (or near Rockefeller center)? Flying into LGA, staying at The Muse hotel. Wanting to get there via bus/subway to save some money. Seems like the NY shuttle bus service that costs 21 dollars will take just as long as going by public transit. Looking at maps, I'm wondering if I take the M60 bus and get off at the Astoria stop, if that is by the subway, and if it is possible to take that line into Manhattan. Or do I stay on the M60 and get off at 106th and Broadway and take a subway from there? Also, what line would I need to ride on the subway? I'm all about saving money, but not to the point where it would be a huge inconvenience. I will just have a small carry on size of luggage (with wheels). Please advise whether you think it is worth saving this bit of money or not. Example... taking the subway in Boston to go from Airport to just about anywhere into the city is not a struggle or hassle for me. In Chicago, taking the Metra from Naperville into the city, then walking to get on the blue line to get to Ohare is a hassle. Thank you very much in advance! I look forward to spending the weekend in your fine city!

Sims 2 Bon Voyage trouble, family can't come home? I posted this question twice before and was advised to write a shorter version so here it is: My family (mum, dad and child) went on holiday to their holiday home (their first holiday), all was going fine until they arrived back at the house. The family tried to get back into the shuttle bus, I managed to stop the mum but the dad and child were driven away. The game loaded up the holiday cottage again and the dad and child got out but the mum's stuck at home! Whenever the dad tries to cancel the vacation, he just shakes his head and nothing happens. I thought the shuttle would taske them home again the next morning, but it's been 6 days now and no matter what I do, I can't get them home! I can't invite the mum and twin babies round to move in and the dad and girl's wants are just their usual wants, so it's just like they're at home. The aging rate (the blue bar next to the wants) just says that it's 'time to go home'. Please help me, how do I get the dad and child home?
HELP! In college - how do I get him to notice me? I have a boyfriend. He lives about an hour away, and I see him on the weekends (if that). Our relationship is crashing and burning, badly. I plan to break up with him over the next two days, since just talking about him depresses me. I consider myself not pretty but not ugly to look at either. Red & brown hair, short, green eyes, glasses... I'm a gamer chick, I'm into sports, and I love drinking with the guys. I have been told that either I'm easy to talk to or I intimidate guys who have an interest in me because they think they will "never have a chance" (lol) I'm a college Sophomore and since I was a little kid, I can't get over my extreme shyness. I'm the girl who would look at him out of the corner of her eye, and look away and blush if his eyes meet mine. I'm still like that. Zero self-confidence. Anyway... I have a class this semester that meets 2 times a week for about an hour and a half each session. During my first day, I was absolutely immediately infatuated by this guy who prompty took a seat right in front of me. Tall, curly blonde hair, blue eyes... By his clothes, I can tell he is into sports. And hard rock music, like me. I learn his name through the roll call by the professor, and the one thought shoots through my mind - Why can't I muster up the courage to say hi? This was 2 weeks ago. It's now two weeks later. I try my best to sit next to him, but his buddy usually takes the only empty seat, so I'm about one seat away. I do look at him out of the corner of my eye. He has made eye contact with me, but I look away quickly as my cheeks turn bright red. I saw him when I went to grab some food before my work shift. He lives on campus but at the other location which is just a shuttle bus ride away. I even found myself trying to find him on Facebook, but either he's private; under another name; or just doesn't have one. If anything, I just want the courage to talk to him and get on regular speaking terms with him. I'm not talking about a hook up, but I just want to get to know him and talk to him. But I can't find any reason to say anything to him. In my college, the only time to talk to anyone in your class is if there's a group project. Other than that, you keep your mouth shut. I have class with him again tomorrow, and then my next class after that is Tuesday... Any ideas?
How to get to blue line stop from Metra NCS stops near O'hare? I have been racking my brains on how to get from Lake Villa (via NCS Metra train) to the blue line to take it into the city. The blue line let's off right by my work. Any sort of trip planner takes me into 2 hours of travel almost not to mention umpteen buses. I just want to take the NCS to the Blue line and walk to work. I know there is a shuttle from the O'Hare transfer stop to O'hare but I don't know how long it takes or if it is even close to the blue line. Any help would be great. Where is the best place to catch the blue line, from an NCS stop with the least amount of walking? Right now it looks as if the Rosemont NCS stop then walk to Rosemont blue line. But that's a long walk on a couple busy roads.

Transportation between and around Cancun and Playa del Carmen.? We will be visiting Cancun in Oct 07. We are staying at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda resort at Playa del Carmen. We have to arrange own transportation from Cancun airport to the resort. After researching on-line, we found the US$60 per person one-trip "official" shuttle cost is way too much for us. Now, here comes my questions: 1. Is there any shuttle service to the resort with more reasonable rates(approx US$20 a person per way)? 2. ADO bus: what is the schedule and rate from Cancun airport to Playa del Carmen? How to get the tickets? How far is its station in Playa del Carmen to our destination (Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda), and how can we get to our hotel from there? 3. Rental car: We consider to rent a car at the Cancun Airport that its rate includes full auto insurance coverage. What is the most reputable rental car company that you would recommend? Can we buy Mexico auto insurance independently from the rental car company? Thank you very much in advanced!

have you heard? MONTEBELLO, Quebec – For a meeting about a secretive partnership among the heads of state of the United States, Canada and Mexico who have been reluctant to share with the public the details of the plan, the seclusion of Montebello, Quebec, is ideally situated. The Fairmont Le Chateau resort, where U.S. President George W. Bush, Mexico's President Felipe Calderon, and Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper are meeting to discuss the Security and Prosperity Partnership, is literally in the middle of the rural Quebec woods. At 4:30 a.m. today, SPP security workers began shuttling journalists by bus from Ottawa on the hour-long trek in the dark through the Canadian countryside. (Story continues below) The resort itself has been surrounded by a double security fence – chain link on the outside perimeter and what appears to be a thick-mesh wire barrier dotted with live security cameras. Within the compound, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are clearly in command, and busloads of heavily armed Sûreté du Québec, the provincial police, have been dispatched throughout the compound. Military presence, both U.S. and Canadian, also is evident, although low-key. When Bush arrived yesterday, Harper greeted him by commenting on his Secret Service detail, noting in the live feed over an open mike, that, "You really travel with a small army, don't you." Bush, looking strained, laughed and responded that the setting for the meeting was beautiful. Even within the compound, the press is limited to a specified area, with no apparent access to the SPP working group meetings, except for an occasional photo op with the three national leaders. Today's agenda began with a closed-door meeting the three leaders held with the North American Competitiveness Council, the 30 multi-national North American companies selected by the Chambers of Commerce in each respective state to advise the SPP working groups how to follow their business agenda. The U.S. Department of Commerce has set up the NACC to serve as the chief policy adviser to the 20 SPP trilateral working groups that have been "integrating" and "harmonizing" North American administrative laws and regulations across a wide spectrum of public policy issues. Press photographers were allowed in the room as the session began, to take the customary photos for worldwide distribution. Bush, Calderon, and Harper appeared awkward wearing their suit coats and blue button-down shirts buttoned fully to the last button before the neck, all without ties. In contrast, the NACC business leaders either did not get the message or could not bring themselves to part with their ties, even though the closest boardroom is an hour or more from Montebello. Once the three leaders sat down to get to business, the photo op ended and the press were returned to the press pool, left to watch live satellite news feeds or play computer golf on their laptops. Every now and then, the CBC, Canada's national broadcasting network, would wheel out an official, such as U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Wilkins, who on cue answered the interviewer's probes with calming reassurances that what was going on was fairly boring bureaucratic work, all designed to make the trio of nations more secure and more prosperous. Gone from this year's Montebello summit is the comfortable familiarity Bush seemed to enjoy with his "amigo" President Vicente Fox, evident when Bush entertained at the first SPP summit in Waco, Texas, in 2005, or when Fox was the host last year in Cancun. When the word circulated that Calderon was leaving early because of Hurricane Dean, seasoned members of the press speculated that Calderon had found a ready excuse to get away early. Perhaps, some callous media speculated, Calderon did feel bitter that Bush had not delivered on his promise to Fox that he would push some form of "comprehensive immigration reform" through Congress that would have, among other goals, created a path for an estimated 12-20 million illegal aliens in the United States to legal residency. Harper's predecessor, former prime minister Paul Martin, in Waco seemed out of step with the desolation, uncertain what footwear would work if cowboy boots were just not comfortable. In the few public appearances Harper has made since the Montebello summit began, he also appears uncertain, perhaps of his own standing as the leader of a minority government in a Canada that is increasingly suspect of the SPP's ambitious integration agenda. Truly, all three leaders are here in a weakened position. Bush, after the second defeat of his Kennedy-McCain "sham-nesty" bill and the departure of Karl Rove, is a lame duck with less influence, even within an increasingly contentious Republican Party. Within Mexico, Calderon is still fighting off charges that he stole the election from his leftist opponent Lopez Obrador. The public highlight of the morning session was when the three leaders strode confidently from the resort's main lodge along a footpath past news photographers to a late morning meeting in a tent at the end of the path. The press members then were herded by security back to the press area to await being summoned for the next SPP photo shoot. Being inside Montebello with the press, no one has any idea if there are protesters or not. The only hint of an outside world was when a Fairmont worker drove by in a heavy-duty backhoe, evidently on the way to some construction job.
