changing planes at lax do have to take the "A' shuttle bus to terminal 7? I'm coming off Us airways which is in terminal 1 and changing planes to united (in terminal 7) I have seen Lax shuttles buses -are they free ? now which one would i use? someone told me i would have to take the "A" airline connection shuttle but couldn't i take either the C or G buses? (since don't they make the same stops) I'll have two heavy bags and I wont feel like walking 9since I'm will be having some jet lag

Easiest way to get from LAX to Grauman's Chinese Theatre? My sister and I are coming over to the USA from Australia for a holiday. We will be in LA on Monday 28 December for the day. We are flying into LAX, arriving around 7am on SouthWest Airlines. We fly out at about 8pm that same night to go to Vegas. Since we only have the day there, we want to do a Hollywood / LA tour and try to see as much as possible. We have found one we are keen to do that departs from Grauman's Chinese Theatre (6925 Hollywood Blvd) at 9am. I have looked at www.metro.net but the Trip planner keeps telling me that there are no options available for the trip we want to do. Investigating a bit further, it looks like we can take a Shuttle from LAX to Aviation/LAX station, take the Green Line train to Imperial/Wilmington station, then change to the Blue Line train and travel to 7th St/Metro and then change to the Red Line train and travel to Hollywood/Highland. Not knowing what the train system is like, is it easy to change Lines from Green to Blue and then Blue to Red? Are the stops in the same station (i.e. just have to change platforms) or do we actually have to leave the station and go to another station? Also, what is the best way to buy a ticket? Can we just buy tickets with cash on the Shuttle bus for the whole trip (including return to LAX at the end of the day) or do we have to buy separate tickets when we get to Aviation/LAX station for the train trip? Finally, is there an easier way to get to Grauman's (bearing in mind we HAVE to arrive before 9am or we will miss the tour)? Sorry, perhaps I should have explained better. We are coming from Australia but we will already be in the US before our day trip to LA. We will be in Vegas and thought, since the airfare was so cheap, that we could do a day trip to LA and check it out as well. We are looking at taking an early flight from Vegas to LA. We won't have bags so we should be able to clear the airport quite quickly after our flight lands. Re the "Flyaway" how long does it take to get to Union Station? I was worried that if we took a cab or a bus we would get stuck in traffic and risk not getting to the Theatre on time to meet the tour. OK people who live in La, I'm landing in LAX and taking a cruise the following day from the LA port.? at the end of our cruise, we will also have a whole day which actually makes 3 days to see the sights of la....I need advice on: where to stay? I read the Marriott at LAX offers free shuttle to the bus--but what about to the port for the cruise? How expensive is it to taxi around or is their buses so we can see some sites- specifically, venice beach and whatever else you recommend. i lost my video camera in an air plane on the way to LAX? i was going to disney land last week and my plane flew outta calgary alberta(where we were picking up my sister) and then we flew from calgary to LA. and in my carry on bag, was my video camera, my i pod, my digital camera, and my cell phone, and a book. i didn't even have any of the stuff out of my bag (i was watching a movie :p) and then i was leaving the air port and getting on the shuttle bus to go to the hotel. when we were like 5 minutes away from the air port, my step dad's cell phone rang and it was the air port saying the cleaning staff found my video camera between the seats (where i didn't even have my bag) and that i could pick it up on our way back to canada. when the trip was over, my mom and i went to baggage claims to pick it up and they said they couldn't find it in the office and that the manager sometimes put the items of value in her private locker (but the manager was out sick that day so we couldn't get it) and that they could just fedex it to us when they found it and they would phone . its been 4 days and they still haven't phoned yet and im getting really worried that they wont return it to me. i have only had the camera for like 5 months and i spent $600 of my own money on it and it really means alot to me! is there anyway of contacting LAX??? (air canada was the company we were using) i really need some infoi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i cant just go buy a new one.....im 13 and i only have $110 left from my trip
Is it possible to walk from Terminal 5 / Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 at the LAX airport? I am thinking of buying 2 separate tickets for Delta (Terminal 5) / AirTran (Terminal 3) and Northwest (Terminal 2), changing at LAX. LAX airport -- public transit? I will need to go from LAX to the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel for a meeting. I want to save some $ and the hassle of driving by using public transit. I checked the mta.net website and found that there is a Culver City bus I can catch from the "LAX Transit Center". However, one would need to take "Shuttle C" from the terminal to the transit center in Parking Lot C. How long will it take for the shuttle to arrive at the bus station? What is the best way to get from the Pantages Theatre to Disnayland? I am going to see the 8PM performance of "Wicked" on Friday, May 2nd. Instead being a airline that uses a terminal shared with others, not a exclusive carrier for only those who are wealthy enough to be a in flight that is at airport in the middle of no where or a airline that uses airports that are in places many miles away from where they say they are. We are doing something different... We are located at terminal thats are not in the middle of a bunch of other terminals, we use a separate building that is away from the chaos and traffic. We have a separate road that leads to only our terminal, we have a maintenance center at the terminal. there is no waiting for a replacement A/C if necessary, or new parts if needed. once you back out of the gate there are no lines of planes waiting because we are far away from even that traffic, you are straight off onto the runway. Fleet: A300 A330 A320 A321 767 777 EMB-145 and shuttle buses that go from LGA, EWR, and ISP to JFK. MDW to ORD, FLL to MIA. SJO to SFO.
