Charter Buses For Sale Knowledge Base
Fundraiser Ideas? I teach 2nd grade and we are trying to plan an extended day field trip for May. We are having to get charter buses to go on this field trip because regular school buses in my school district will not take extended days. Is there any type of fundraisers you can think of we can do to raise money to help with the field trip. I work at a very poor school and the children aren't able to go very many places that's way it's so important for me to make this happen. I thought about bake sales, silent auction, penny wars (ask kids to bring in change and see who gets the most change boys or girls). Our school will be having a Bazaar and I thought we could sell donuts, but wasn't sure how much to sell them for. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help
Starting a SemiPro Football Team, Need Tax Help? Starting a Semi-Pro Football Team that will be operated much like a small business. Due to the limitations of a non-profit tax exemption (would need to be in business for at least a brief period of time to be eligible) I need to know what type of expenses I can deduct from taxes. 1) League Fees: $2000 2) Travel Fees: Unknown Rate, but will be a flat rate because it will be a charter bus going from our Home Field to the visiting home field. Expenses going TO the home field for the charter will not be included in the deductions 3) Office space for the hotline and computer use for generating communication between customers and the business. Also used to maintain the businesses' website, keeping financial records, etc. 4) Field Rental. Paying the field rent for Home games. $1500 5) Ticket Costs. Paying for the printing of Tickets used for sales. $300 6)Equipment. Equipment for each player costs about $350. $350x40 = $14000 7) Jerseys and Uniforms. $100 each player, 100x40 =$4000 Players will sign a release of liability to the team with proof of thier own health insurance. Also I didnt mean to ask if anybody needed help, I am the one needing help heh
Do you think that this job offer is a scam? Last weekend, I saw an ad in the local newspaper for a traveling sales job. When I called, the company told me that they are a magazine and children's book company who are seeking 80-100 people between 18-25 to travel the United States to sell subscriptions to people in different cities. The person said that they would pay for a charter bus to take me to their headquarters in CA and I would have a 30 day paid training period ($25 a day) and if they decided to hire me or if I decided to take the job, me and a group of people would travel to 30-35 cities in a period of 6 months going to local hotspots and college campuses asking people to buy magazine subscriptions. I would only get commision with a promise of $25/day if I sold nothing and I would also get a $500 sign on bonus only to be used for doctor visits, food, etc. I am thinking about taking this job but am concerned for my safety and need to know if this is a possible setup (illegal activites) or simply a scam. Thanks!
